Our Bootcamps

Yorkshire Bootcamps has changed and evolved over the years and we now follow a High Intensity Strength Training format. Originally we used to work to the better known HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) format but found that we were getting better results when we focused more on strength work than old fashioned cardio exercise. Our bootcamp sessions now are set out as a circuit utilising the full sports hall to ensure there's plenty of space between stations and participants. This year we have introduced even more equipment and we now have:

Powerbags

Kettlebells

Battle Ropes

Plyometric Boxes

Dumbells

Barbells

 

Plus of course there's still the regular bodyweight and cardio exercises. 

Diet and Nutrition

But as we all know, exercise alone will only take you so far. If you really want results then you need to back up your training in the kitchen! Again we used to work with a 21 day diet plan that just gave direction and was based on intermittent fasting, however we found that the people attending our bootcamps needed more structure to their diet plans. They didn't want to have to work out their own recipes or measurements, so we had a new plan written for us that set out each days food, including snacks, with macros already calculated and easy to follow step by step recipes - it even has a shopping list for the week to make sure that you don't forget anything! The new diet plan is tailored to your individual calorie requirements, and you are able to run consecutive diet pans with reducing calories should you need to. 

In addition to the diet plan we also now offer a selection of healthy eating cookbooks to suit differing dietary needs and we have vegan, vegetarian, low carb, high protein and even paleo options available. The diet plans and cookbooks were originally sold individually or as add ons to our bootcamps however as we are all suffering the effects of lockdown we've decided that for now at least the personalised diet plans and cookbooks will be free of charge to anyone who signs up for a bootcamp! You can now choose just the 1 or all 5 cookbooks (usually £9.95 each) along with your personalised diet plan (usually £49.95) absolutely free of charge!
